 Cambridge State Bank is pleased to announce the election of Doug Streed to its Board of Director, effective immediately.
Doug is owner and CEO of Peoples State Agency, a leading independent insurance agency. He is a lifelong Cambridge community member and lives in Cambridge. Doug graduated from Cambridge High School in 1969 and received a Bachelor of Science degree from St. Cloud State College in 1974 with an English degree. From 1974 to 1978 he worked for Prudential Insurance Company. Doug joined Peoples State Agency in 1978, was part owner since 1981 and sole owner since 2004. Doug is a member of the Cambridge Area Chamber of Commerce and several trade associations. He is a past member and president of the Cambridge-Isanti Jacket Backers and board member and treasurer of the Cambridge-Isanti Hoops Boosters.
Doug and his wife, Connie, have two grown children, Shea and Jonelle. Recently, Shea joined Doug and Connie, Judy Paich and Roxanne Hanson as agents at Peoples State Agency. Jonelle is a women’s college basketball coach. Doug is a proud grandpa of Alyshia and Keagan Streed too!
